Pizza for the bambini and Prosecco for the parents – perfecto!
This glam new Italiano eatery and bar is the latest opening from Ausralian/Italian restaurateur Maurice Terzini. Located in trendy Petitenget, it is spacious and stylish and brings a touch of the Amalfi coast to the island of Bali, and with a 5.00pm opening time is a top spot for an early family din-dins.
The restaurant is huge and the staff are plentiful (honestly we have never seen so many staff in the one place at the one time!)… so its a good choice of venue for a large family or group dinner with pizzas and plates to share, kids, highchairs, prams and in traditional Italian family dining style – plenty of noise and laughter.
There’s a bambini menu for the little diners that of course includes their famous 90 second pizza, as well as mini serves of Gnocchi, Spaghetti and Cotoletta. And for dessert the obligatory scoop or two of Gelato or a traditional Bomboloni for a sweet treat. Plus plenty of kid-friendly options to share on the main menu too that will tickle the tastebuds of the tiny diners including arancini, calamari and prosciutto.
Our Little Bali Love girls were lucky enough to get into the kitchen with the Pizzaiolo and make their very own pizzas – kneading and rolling the dough, choosing their toppings and then putting it into the big oven for 90 seconds… dinner was on table and gobbled up in no time.
Campari, Aperol Spritz, Prosecco and an impressive Italian wine list will keep Mamma and Pappa happy along with the delicious Italian fare, as will the divine Tiramisu for dessert. And the “Pizza Party” menu is an excellent option for larger family gatherings – includes a shared selection of pizzas, salad and bomboloni for only Rp 200,000 per person.
Open for lunch from 12 – 3pm and dinner from 5 – 10pm.
