Buddha knows best…
When dining at Bali Buda not only are you doing your body and mind a favour, but also the planet too. With a focus on organic, veggo and vegan dishes, with fresh ingredients sourced from local organic farms, the focus here is on sustainable, and environmentally aware choices and dishes.
And there’s a fun, relaxed, laidback hippie vibe too with the health food shop at the front, colourful artwork by Bali based artist Drew Wellman adorning the walls, golden marigolds in vases on the tables, the eclectic clientele, comfy cushions and cosy nooks.
The pancakes are a breakfast fave, and a selection of pizzas, sandwiches, bagels, wraps, soups, salads and more are top choices for lunch accompanied by a fresh health juice, smoothie, milkshake or lassi (complete with eco friendly reusable glass straw).
Pretty mandala colouring-in sheets and jars of coloured pencils will help keep the kids entertained, there are highchairs for the tiniest customers and there is a sweet selection of wooden children’s toys, puppets and books for sale too. The restaurant area is fully enclosed and air conditioned making it a good choice for brunch or lunch with little ones on a hot Bali day.
Don’t forget to stock up on some fresh organic fruit and veggies and grocery items to take back to your villa too – we love the Granola for breakfast, the bagel chips and hummus as an afternoon poolside snack and the famous choc chip cookies at anytime of day!
There is incense, soaps, cards, Begone mozzie spray, Kebunku seeds, vitamins and other natural potions and lotions for sale too.
Home delivery is also available.
You can also find Bali Buda at their other locations in Ubud, Sanur and on the Bukit.
